Mission & Vision

Our Mission

To turn every wardrobe into an opportunity.

We built SEKEN for the person who sees a pile of old clothes and thinks, someone out there wants this. We make that person right.

Our Vision

An Indonesia where selling what you own is as normal as buying something new. Where a student pays her bills from her closet. Where a young dad clears space and earns real money doing it. Where fashion moves forward by looking back.

What We Stand For

SEKEN exists because the secondhand market in Indonesia has always been there, in Instagram DMs, WhatsApp groups, weekend pasar, but it has never had a real home. We are building that home.

We believe:

  • Selling should be free. Always.
  • Pre-loved clothes deserve a second life, not a landfill.
  • Every seller, no matter how small, deserves a proper storefront.
  • Trust between strangers can be designed.

Our Taglines

For Sellers

"Cuan dari lemari, gak pakai ribet."

Earn from your wardrobe, no hassle required. This is the promise to every seller: listing is free, the tools are simple, and the buyers are waiting.

For Buyers

"Setiap barang punya cerita."

Every item has a story. Buying secondhand is not settling, it is discovery. Something with history is more interesting than something off a shelf.

For the Brand

"Gratis jualan. Selamanya."

Free to sell. Forever. This is not a promotional offer. It is a structural commitment. SEKEN does not charge sellers to list, this is the foundation everything else is built on.

Why Indonesia, Why Now

Indonesia's secondhand fashion market is large and underpenetrated. Most trade happens through unstructured channels: TikTok Lives, Instagram DMs, WhatsApp group chats. Buyers and sellers make it work, but they do it without tools, without protection, and without trust infrastructure.

SEKEN is the structured alternative. A marketplace that feels local and trustworthy, not a copy of a Western platform translated into Bahasa.

We start in Bali, where the secondhand culture is densest, then expand to major cities across Indonesia.

The Name

Pasar Seken. Pasar means market. Seken is Indonesian slang for secondhand. It is exactly what we are, said plainly, in the language of the people we serve.

The brand mark: SEKEN.: Montserrat 900, Teal. Direct. Confident. Familiar.
