KTP Identity Verification

Do You Need to Verify?​

KTP (Kartu Tanda Penduduk) verification is optional: you can list items and start selling without it. There's no verification wall before you publish, and your listings reach buyers either way.

What verification gives you is trust: a Verified badge on your profile that tells buyers you're a real, identity-checked seller.

How to Verify​

  1. Go to Settings → Identity Verification
  2. Take a photo of your KTP (front side)
  3. Take a selfie for face matching
  4. Submit, review takes 1-24 hours
  5. Once approved, your Verified badge appears on your profile
Requirements
  • Your KTP must be valid and not expired
  • The photo must be clear and all text readable
  • Your selfie must match the KTP photo
  • You must be 17 years or older

Privacy & Security​

  • Your KTP photo is stored in a private, encrypted bucket
  • Only Seken's admin team can view it during verification
  • We never share your identity documents with other users
  • You can request deletion at any time under Settings
  • All access is logged and audited
Data Protection

Seken complies with Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP). Your identity data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
